The development of space exploration was the most significant technological development of the 20th century. 

Today the audio-visual records of these events exist in numerous archives around the world, embedded in celluloid film and magnetic tape. 

The Spaceflight Digitization & Preservation Project's mission is to scan, consolidate and publish as much of our shared space history as possible to increase public awareness of spaceflight and to preserve it for future generations. 

We do not sell our footage.  All footage is provided free of charge to the public in the interest of historical preservation, and is free to use.
